Job Description

Q2 is seeking an Implementation Engineer responsible for implementing Q2 s Ebanking Solutions in order to align with the business requirements of our customers. You will be exposed to a highly customizable product on multiple platforms that are configured/engineered differently for each customer. Must be exceptionally detail - oriented, an energetic self - starter who can work independently and in a group setting. This work is performed out of our Implementations Solution Center in Austin and does not require travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for leading all technical aspects of delivering a Cloud Lending project, which include custom development as well as data and application integration.
  • You will be expected to have extensive experience in software development, including, but not limited to, Salesforce technologies such as Visualforce and Apex.
  • You will also be expected to document detailed design of technical solutions and manage developers throughout the development, testing, and support phases.
  • You will be responsible for making sure the technical delivery ( viz. solution design, build and maintenance ) for each implementation is on time and under budget.
  • You will identify and clarify issues, propose and drive resolution and hold technical resources (Dev, QA) accountable for their deliverables
  • You will design a software development lifecycle for implementation projects to plan and track project progress. This may include conducting and participating daily scrums and providing project progress information back to the project managers.
  • You will be the primary liaison between the PS organisation and the Product organisation and represent the PS organisation in the product triage meeting whose goal is to bring requirements from the field back to the product.
  • You will be responsible for creating a culture of professionalism in the PS org by educating the PS org on proper ways of client interaction.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in SaaS industry
  • Architect, design, and develop advanced customisations utilising Salesforce.com and Force.com.
  • Manage technical project team members (onshore and offshore).
  • Running workshops, working closely with client, able to talk about tradeoffs e.g. terms of config vs code.
  • Map functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality.
  • Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery.
  • Mentor junior team members in Salesforce.com technology, Force.com, Integration Technologies, and Salesforce.com best practices.
  • Oversee code reviews.
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • B.Tech / MCA or equivalent
  • Should be proficient with Banking Domain primarily Lending
  • Salesforce Certification is a plus
