Job Description

*Description: The Project Leader will be a member of the our India Project Execution team responsible to technically lead the PLC/DCS based Industrial Automation Systems projects.Responsibilities:

  • Attend KOM with project manager and Discuss and freeze all requirements with client.
  • Complete involvement in design and implementation of PLC & DCS Based Automation Projects.
  • Co-ordination with the manufacturing
  • Lead the FAT & inspection
  • Lead project documentation & review
  • Support the field services team in commissioning
  • Process and handle customer inquiries within a timely manner
  • Technical support to the customer and site engineers with focus on site closure
  • Identify and communicate technical risk of proposed Solutions/systems.
  • Participate, guide and/or lead resolution of technical issues for projects under execution & ensure robust, timely completion of technical issues impacting customers.
  • Promote collaboration and call on experts from across the company, as necessary, to solve problems
  • Travel to Site to solve technical issue or lead commissioning activities in critical projects
, *Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or business.
  • Masters degree desirable.
  • Minimum 3-4 years progressively responsible Technical responsibilities in Automation Industry.
  • Design experience and working knowledge of PLC/DCS and its architecture for both hardware and software.
  • Sound Knowledge of standard Industrial protocols, OPC, MODBUS, IEC61850, DNP, EGD
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to energize and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Proficy Software Suite products. Desired Characteristics:
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-site development organization.
  • High initiative in working through difficult problems and obstacles.
  • Experience in MarkVIe based Control Systems
  • Executed Large PLC/DCS Projects in Solar, Power, O&G projects
  • Experience in web services, SOA and/or WCF
  • Manufacturing process knowledge and experience
  • Ability to adapt real-time to rapidly changing environments
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across multiple teams
