Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met. Lead and mentor QA team members Peer review test cases and automation scripts Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance. Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement and implement the same. Create, enhance and maintain automation frameworks. Introduce ways for improved efficiency and reliability. Prepare test plan, test estimates for committed work in Sprint. Analyse the test data requirements for each sprint and work with respective teams to accomplish the task. Assess the dependencies from different teams, communicate well in advance and work to close the dependencies. Ensuring overall quality of the deliverables and test sign off will be the key responsibility Responsible for Defining QA strategy, approach, execution and reporting metrics for the projects Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated). Keen in learning new technologies and propose the required to improve QA standard. Maintain QA infra and optimize Qualifications Over 8 - 10 years of experience in software testing and test automation Minimum 2 years of experience working in agile projects 5+ years of experience in test automation of Web/Mobile, API and DB Expertise In Designing Automation Frameworks Like BDD, Keyword, POM And Hybrid Frameworks Hands - on Java programming Scripting, Unix scripting, White box testing experience in JAVA & TestNG/ jUnit Experience working with web applications, web services and/or mobile technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, HTTP Protocol Experience in script less/codeless test automation platform like would be a plus. Hands - on experience in test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, TestNG, Cucumber Good exposure on Rest and SOAP API Experience in web service and API testing using tools like Sandbox, Postman, SoapUI, etc. Experience with RESTful service architecture and infrastructure is an Mandatory. Experience with databases testing. Familiarity with development build environments (such as Jenkins, Linux or Maven) - Mandatory Hands - on experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git Experience in requirements gathering, designing test plans, defect management, project tracking, reporting, and End of Test report creating.
