Job Description

    As a Lead Security Operations Analyst at Smarsh, your role in the Security Operations Center (SOC) is crucial in handling escalated incidents from the analysts. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed incident analysis, coordinating end-to-end security incident management, leading incident response plan development, and monitoring security alerts using various security tools. You will also be actively involved in threat hunting, forensic analysis, architecture design of security tools, and collaborating with different teams within the organization.**Key Responsibilities:**- Conduct detailed analysis of escalated security incidents.- Coordinate end-to-end Security Incident management, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders and efficient incident resolution.- Lead the development and implementation of incident response plans.- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools.- Lead proactive threat hunting to identify risks and vulnerabilities.- Analyze and integrate threat intelligence feeds, staying updated on emerging threats.- Mentor and provide guidance to Security analysts on incident handling.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.- Perform forensic and malware analysis on various digital media.- Develop and refine architecture of Security Tools and platforms.- Collaborate with different teams to creatively solve problems.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field.- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GCIH, GSOC, or GCIA.- 7 years of experience in Cyber Incident response and investigations.- Strong leadership and communication skills.Smarsh is the leader in communications compliance, archiving, and analytics, serving customers managing over 500 million daily conversations across various channels.
