Job Description

    We have an opportunity to impact your career and provide an adventure where you can push the limits of whats possible.As a Senior DevOps/MLOps Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, AWM, Distribution tech management, you will deliver infrastructure, applications, and ML pipelines to support state-of-the-art investment processes as part of the Machine Learning Engineering team in JP Morgan Asset Management. ML Engineering team is located within AM Research Technology where data scientists and ML engineers collaborate to develop advanced algorithms and applications to improve investment decision making. Job responsibilities
    • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
    • Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
    • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
    • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural
    • Building and operating highly sophisticated machine learning infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles
    • Planning and deploying data storage and processing systems, especially for text, timeseries or financial data
    • Operating in a multi-cloud environment with a big focus on AWS
    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
    • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
    • Expert level experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform
    • Experience architecting, developing, and operating within AWS
    • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and Datadog
    • Experience working in product development teams
    • History of successfully collaborating with internal stakeholders and clarifying requirements
    • Proven ability to iterate quickly
    • Practical cloud native experience
    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
    • Proficiency in Python programming
    • Experience building and operating Machine Learning pipelines for text, timeseries or financial data
