Job Description

Will be responsible for :

  • Detail knowledge of preparing equipment layouts, material specifications, piping GADs, Isometrics andBill of Material activities. Conversant with interpreting all types of Fabrication and construction contract
  • drawings such as Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, P & IDs etc
  • Should have experience in man-hrs estimation
  • Performs piping selection, routing, plant layout, pipe specification, pipe stress calculations, etc
  • Prepares and updates material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals
  • Coordinates and cooperates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interferencecheck and design changes
  • Effective skills in handling projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines
  • Ability to represent the company to the staff, clients and community by ensuring the best image ispresented
  • Ability to accurately apply codes and regulations
  • Ability to coordinate with all disciplines, extract and relay relevant information for complex projects
  • Should be able to communicate with vendors
Job Specification, should be experienced in :
  • Experiences in working on offshore / onshore projects from the permitting and design phases through end of project (conceptual / basic / detailed design) in Engineering Company
  • Must be Lead Piping Engineer in at least 2 successful projects in FEED/Detailed Design forOffshore Oil &Gas Platform
