Job Description

DescriptionRapyuta Robotics is seeking talented, and ambitious individuals with a can-do attitude to help revolutionize robotics. We re creating a whole new generation of multi-agent aerial- and ground-based mobile robotic platforms with access to an inexhaustible supply of data and processing capabilities, that is the Cloud. Our units will be capable of working autonomously and collaboratively, learning from their own collective experiences and continuously improving upon themselvesWe are looking for a Lead Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will work collaboratively with developers, site reliability engineers, and product managers to make our products easier to understand and use. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements, creating and maintaining the information architecture
  • Writing easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides
  • Creating tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Working with marketing managers, product managers, and developers to develop and write new product releases, release notes, product overviews, and other product information as required.
  • Working with the tech support team on customer feedback and providing solutions to improve product documentation and content.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach tech writers in Rapyuta Robotics.
, Requirements
  • Proven ability to do high-quality technical writing, in particular for software documentation
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable using text and pictures
  • Ability to work under stringent timelines in a high-velocity work culture with minimal supervision
  • Superior English-language writing skills
What makes you stand out:
  • Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
