Job Description

Position for Library InCharge @ Bangalore Experience 5 to 6 years in Library & Information Science

  1. Manage the planning, administrative and budgetary functions of library and information
services
  • Adhered to library and information policies and procedures
  • Develop and manage convenient, accessible library and information services
  • Maintain the budgetary details
  • Analyze, develop and manage cost-effective library and information services
  • With approved recommendations, order materials and maintain records for payment of invoices
  • Prepare reports related as per the requirement
  • Provide effective access to library collections and resources
  • Cataloguing and classification for all the Library material
  • Managing daily newspapers & periodicals
  1. Maintain the organization of library materials
  • Ensure an accurate inventory of resources (Annual Inventory activity)
  • Ensure efficient retrieval by users
  • Maintain inventories, compile statistics and generate reports as required
  • Enter cataloguing data into the librarys automated system
  • File cards in shelf list & book shelving
