Job Description

    The Live Underwriter (US-Mortgage) is responsible for evaluating mortgage applications and making informed decisions about loan approvals. This role requires a keen understanding of the mortgage industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and loan officers. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in mortgage underwriting and a solid foundation in risk assessment and compliance.Responsibilities
    • Review mortgage applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
    • Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and assess risk factors associated with loan applications.
    • Make underwriting decisions based on company guidelines and regulatory compliance.
    • Communicate with loan officers and clients to gather additional information or clarify details as needed.
    • Ensure timely completion of underwriting processes to meet company deadlines.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, and industry regulations.
