Job Description

Wholesale Lending Services s Loan Center is responsible for booking, funding, and closing new loans, renewals, and amendments for syndicated and non-syndicated Commercial Loan products. The team also handles loan servicing processing such as loan payments, advances, and terminations. Collateral functions include loan documentation preparation, documentation review, releases, image scanning, and documentation storage. Specialized functions includes letters of credit and specialized loan and agency handling. Key loan systems used include Loan IQ, ACBS, and VLS.Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing involves review of documentation and booking transactions for sensitive and/or complex Wealth Management customers on syndicated loans (both JPMorgan Chase & Co. agented and Non-Agented deals) using the Loan IQ loan system as well as bilateral loans. (i.e. Advances, libor repricings, Variable rate Loans, LIBOR loans, PRIME loans)
  • General understanding in Processing of Revolvers, Advised lines, Syndicated deals and Term Loans mechanics
  • Exceptional customer service skills - Customer contact focuses on high volume or unique activities requiring interaction with multiple internal market/credit partners & resources. (Ability to calculate interest and fee accruals for billing is required for this role)
  • Minimize credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy
  • Participate in projects and working groups as required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Exercise judgment, discretion, and prioritization
  • Understand and follow Bank policy and established procedure
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred
  • 1-5 years of prior loan operations and/or quality control experience in a banking or financial services industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to internal tracking and monitoring systems
  • Working knowledge of legal documents
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with completed work
  • Ability to consistently maintain high performance levels in stressful situations and high-volume environment
