Job Description

Looking for L2 R&S_ Engineers.

  • Good Communication required
  • Experience with Monitoring and troubleshooting of LAN / WAN networks.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems affecting network infrastructure
  • Hands on experience on network monitoring and ticketing tool like HPNA, ITSM Remedy, SevOne etc.
  • Understanding of network technologies utilized within an Internet/Intranet environment.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and other networking protocols like DHCP/DNS/CDP/ARP etc.
  • Basic Knowledge of Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies is desirable.
  • Hands on experience working on Routing protocols like RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP
  • Hands on experience working on switching technologies like VLAN, VTP, DTP, STP etc
  • Basic understanding of Data center technologies
  • Co-ordinating with Carriers and working on troubleshooting on WAN links. Escalating issues at carrier end and driving issues till resolution
  • Experience of handling customer from initial point to escalating to next level based on complexity of the issue.
  • Ready to work in 24* 7 environment.
  • CCNA is a Must
  • Candidate with NOC experience are preferred.
