If you re a hands-on technologist who wants to make an impact, come join us! About the teamThe Product Master Data team offers a unique data distribution channel for Product related data. We build applications that collects, consolidate & store data from multiple systems in a common data structure which is then consumed by several applications.As a software professional, you will be a member of the product development team that develops, customizes, and support our various Web/API-based products to meet the growing business needs. Your role will be to design, develop and maintain the layers of our applications, and to work in collaboration with other teams. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Were looking for someone who has a passion for software development and using the best of new and emerging technologies.What you will learn and contribute toThe Software Engineer acts as a technical software expert, accountable for software development including the research, design, programming, and testing of operating or new software. Supporting business and IT to adapt digital technologies faster and to improve application or solution performance. As part of our team, you will:
• Develop a web application full stack with ASP.NET 6+ at its core to serve as one of the main hubs in Nokia s data mesh, fully on Azure
• Develop and maintain an application in ASP.NET Framework and its storage and data integration layer.
• Work in the team in DevSecOps mode
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with team members on code reviews, design reviews, and other team activities.
Your skills and experience Required skills/experience:
• 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer
• Strong development experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server) and ORMs (EFCore, Dapper)
• Hands-on experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Strong development experience in C#, .NET for web applications (MVC, minimal API, Razor)
• Experience in developing REST APIs.
• Experience implementing Authentication/Authorization patterns with OAuth 2.0
• Experience in working with creating automated Unit and Integration testing for databases and APIs.
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Good analytical, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
Huge plus:
• Development experience working with event streaming and message brokers (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Apache Flink, etc.)
• Developed CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Azure DevOps dev workflows.
• Working knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of Azure Networking and Security
• Experience developing OData APIs
