Job Description

    We are looking for a Mainframe Senior developer responsible for building Mainframe applications. Your primary responsibility will be to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining mainframe based components and interfaces, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable mainframe codes by setting expectations and features priorities.Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom developmentContributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platformsUnderstand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities Primary skills:Mainframe Development,Mainframe testing->JCL,Mainframes,Mainframes->COBOL Support,Mainframes->DB2 Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architectureUnderstanding of performance engineeringKnowledge of quality processes and estimation techniquesBasic understanding of project domainAbility to translate functional / nonfunctional requirements to systems requirementsAbility to design and code complex programsAbility to write test cases and scenarios based on the specificationsGood understanding of SDLC and agile methodologiesAwareness of latest technologies and trendsLogical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate,
