Job Description

Job DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITES :

  • Maintaining the uptime of the machine.
  • Carryout Breakdown maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance and find the permanent measure for breakdowns
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting knowledge on PLC controlled Electronics assembly machines
  • Responsible for Testing and Inspection machines like Agilent / Keysight based, AOI, Xray machines, conveyor systems etc.,
  • Should be able to understand the test list and test sequences in the tester
  • Should be able to trace the test program sequence w.r.t to hardware like test pin, cables, test card e.t.c
  • Should be able to understand the mechanical assemblies and disassemble and assemble them without any errors.
  • Actively finding the mechanical wear parts and plan for the replacement before it fails
  • Should be able to predict problems in the machines and take preliminary actions to avoid the breakdown.
  • Look to convert every failures in to Predictive maintenance (effective implementation of Predictive maintenance)
  • Periodical review of Preventive maintenance activities based on breakdowns.
  • Should have knowledge on PLC programs.
  • Should have knowledge on Electrical and Pneumatics
  • Should able to trace the Electrical and Pneumatics circuits find the failures in the circuit.
  • Should identify and initiate the preventive measures for all repetitive and major breakdown.
  • Problem solving by using appropriate problem solving tools along with CFT Team
  • Effective Tooling management.
  • Effective Escalation to suppliers on open points and breakdowns and close it with in shortest period.
  • Documentation of breakdown and preventive maintenance and maintain history record.
  • Spare parts management and follow-up to ensure production line is not stopped.
  • Implementation and sustenance of TPM, MTBF and MTTR
  • Look for Continuous improvement in maintenance
  • Co-ordination with Process owner for improvement activities.
  • Should work in 3 shifts operation with rotation basis and report to Shift leader ( supervisor)
  • Should maintain 5S and Safety at his work place
  • Should be able to handle entire Final assembly line independently.
  • Responsible for final assembly line Technical Availability and Quality
  • Should support Installation of new lines
