Job Description

As part of our development team you will work on various components of our product, CommandCenter. You will be expected to create technical specification, develop a component or enhance an existing module and deploy the same to QA post successful unit testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the bug fixes of assigned module as well. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to develop and deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must be proficient in agile software development concepts. A good understanding of the Cloud technologies is preferred.Responsibilities

  • Sound knowledge on JAVA, Spring and Hibernate.
  • Working knowledge on Elastic Search, Logstash and Beats.
  • Experience with relational (MS SQL& MY SQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Elastic Search, etc)
  • Experience in MVC, JDBC, and RESTful concepts
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
  • Experience in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
  • Experience with RESTful micro service architecture would be a plus
  • Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing
  • Collaborate with cross functional team in building customer-centric products
  • Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features
  • Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
