Job Description

The position re port s to Director - Accounting International controller and is located in Bangalore

Responsibilities :

  • Approving AP invoices, Vendor invoices, JE s for month end close
  • Monitoring monthly close activities for Revenue, Cost and Balance sheet GL accounts
  • ICO recon, Prepaid recons in co-ordination with US team.
  • Accrued tax recon - US
  • Convertible debt recon-US
  • Closely working with Accounts Payable team i n US.
  • Prefunded collection entries co-ordination with US team.
  • Monitoring bank related activity
  • Co-ordinating with the Audit team Internal or external on the audit requirement
  • Co-ordinating for tax related information for international subs and ensuring the compliance of the same.
  • Co-ordinating with team on flux variances for monthly and quarterly packages
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements wherever necessary
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Required Job Skills:

  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in public and/or private industry required.
  • Bachelor s degree in A ccounting required. CA/ CA-Inter preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of Indian GAAP, INDAS, USGAAP is preferable.
  • Experience with general ledger function and the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and analyses . Handling Audit experience is a must.
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills . Advanced knowledge in Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
  • Ability to work inde pendently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented with a strong commitment to preparing accurate work.
