Job Description

Roche has established Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) at Chennai to drive analytics & technology driven solutions by partnering with Roche affiliates across the globe.As an Analytics Manager, you will lead a team of analysts and be responsible for delivering solutions to the stakeholders. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders in the business teams across Roche s global affiliates and deliver high quality analytics solutions to real-world business problems. You will provide direction to your team, manage stakeholder expectations, provide regular updates to the leadership team and also lead initiatives to grow the GATE team.As an Analytics Manager you will:

  • Work closely with the business stakeholders to define the project objectives and scope
  • Lead the team and stakeholder discussions, act as thought partner and provide them with high quality analytics solutions and recommendations
  • Develop presentations to communicate key insights, recommendations to the stakeholders
  • Understand the stakeholder needs, prioritize and manage the day to day tasks accordingly
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously depending on the requirements
  • Motivate, mentor and coach the junior members on the team and help them grow
  • Conduct training programs to develop subject matter expertise in the team
  • Be involved in the decision making and make significant contributions across key initiatives to help grow the GATE team
Qualifications:
  • Overall experience of 6 -10 Years in the analytics / consulting space out of which 3-5 years of experience in delivering analytics projects in the Pharma /Biotech / Healthcare domain is a must.
  • Proven track record of conceptualizing, designing and delivering solutions to the stakeholders
  • Experience of managing a team with a strong passion for developing the team members to achieve their potential
  • Deep expertise in working with a variety of secondary data sets used in the healthcare industry
  • Expert knowledge of SAS, SQL or other statistical and database software, including R and Python
  • Working knowledge of BI tools such as QuickView, Tableau, Alteryx, etc
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from stakeholders
  • Exposure to the therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, immunology, etc is a big plus
Education:
  • UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
  • Master s Degree Good to have
