Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1. The objective of this position is to design the mechanical enclosure and heat sinks of different high power AC-DC and DC-DC power electronic converters used in electric vehicles. 2. The candidate must have hands on relevant work experience in designing enclosures of various IP ratings for power electronics products. 3. The role also entails thermal management using latest cooling technology of critical power electronic modules. 4. work on early stage of technology development from initial concepts up to production stage 5.Evaluation and selection of materials, Material finishes and processes in cooperation with local experts Experience 4 to 9 Years Industry Preferred Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics and Electrical - Power Electronics Qualifications B.E / B. Tech/ M.E/M.Tech Electrical & Electronics engineering/ Power Electronics General Requirements 1. Must have work experience in product design using Catia V5, and similar software tools. 2. Should have experience in Die cast parts design 3. Should have knowledge in GD&T 4. Should have knowledge in EMI/EMC 5. Should have basic knowledge on power electronics components and component packages and their geometry 6. Should have knowledge on different cooling techniques for power electronic converters. 7. Have very good experience in electro mechanical components design and development 8.Should have very good knowledge in Creepage/Clearance requirement for Power Electronics parts 9. Extensive experience with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, & Design to Cost 10. Have very good knowledge on manufacturing process (Sheet metal, Die Casting, Plastics, Machining) 11. Have very good experience in materials selection 12.Should have good experience in sealing material, Plastics 13.Expertise in PDM/PLM tools. TeamCenter is preferable 14.Ability to interface with cross functional teams effectively ,
