Job Description

Job Designation: Manager - Consolidation Reporting to: DGM Finance Job location: Hosur Road, Bangalore We are looking for a CA (First Attempt) with 7-8 years of post-qualification experience working in the listed Indian entity or working in big 4 with experience of audit of listed entities. The candidate should have in-depth strong knowledge of INDAS / IFRS / US GAAP. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of working in an ERP environment (Preferably SAP) will be an added advantage. Scope of Role: 1. Book close / MIS

  • Consolidate PL for management reporting at a group levels for company and subsidiaries on a monthly / quarterly basis.
  • Review and close books of company and its subsidiaries in India on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis with a team of 2-3 direct reports
  • Review of month end accruals, intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, Income statement trend analysis;
  • Tracking actual cost v/s Budget for support functions.
  • Preparation of Monthly business review / quarterly Board and ACP decks
  • Self-driven and motivated to work in a listed company challenging environment
  • Establish contact / build relationship with key stakeholders.
2. Technical
  • Strong knowledge of INDAS / IFRS / US GAAP. Analysis of revenue contracts, co-development agreements, intangibles, ESOP, derivatives etc
  • Preparing financials with notes & cash flow of company Consolidated Group under INDAS
  • Preparation of Reg 33 , segment reporting and notes
  • Front end statutory audit /limited review process on a quarterly basis
  • Participate in compliance with Companies Act 2013 requirements like CSR, Related party.
3. Other activities
  • Close ESOP and derivative accounting, review intangible valuation, deferred tax
  • Experience in handling consolidation in listed entity or having reviewed consolidation of listed entity
  • Advance tax provision, PL forecast
  • Drive expense budget on an annual basis, consolidate overall budget
  • Monthly submission of MIS reports
  • Review support function budget vs actual expenses
  • Lead Annual report preparation process (MD&A, Directors report)
  • Strong analytical skills required for analysis of business performance
  • Quarterly PL and cash flow forecast
  • Automation of finance initiatives (Online PL, ESOP, cash flow)
  • Preparation of Reg 33 , segment reporting and notes
  • Hands on approach, strong leadership and presentation skills, collaborative approach, stakeholder management
  • Self-motivated, mentorship skills
