  • Excellent working knowledge in Ansible for automating software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments
  • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes
  • Strong fundamentals and hands-on skills in Linux/Unix/Windows Operating systems administration
  • Excellent programming skills using Shell Scripting/Python and other scripting languages
  • Strong knowledge in installation/configuration/administration of web servers, application containers like Apache HTTP Server, NGNIX, Tomcat, JBoss Fuse/EAP, Microsoft IIS
  • Good knowledge and experience in DevOps tool stack like Jenkins, Git/bitbucket, sonarqube, artifactory, application scanning software s, docker registry to enable teams to adopt CI/CD
  • Good working knowledge in automating and deployment application stack using kubernetes, Dockers, Openshift, baremetal/VM s, AWS
  • Ability to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues
  • Data communication, network knowledge & Information security knowledge is an added advantage
  • Manage backup and recovery & conduct asset management
  • Good experience in standard monitoring tools like AppDynamics, ITRS, sysdig, Elasticsearch, Grafana, prometheus
  • Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)
  • Good experience in implementing HA and failover deployment topologies
  • Manage, coordinate, implement and remediate security compliance & vulnerabilities
  • Work with engineering/development teams, develop strategies and implement solutions for managing database back-ups, restoration and replication
  • Support and coordinate the implementation of database products (Oracle, PostGres, MongoDB) on a variety of platforms (VMware 6.x, Oracle DaaS, Amazon RDS)
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations
  • Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
  • Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
  • Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
  • Increase day-to-day operational efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts
  • Provide database diagnoses to remediate issues working with DBA s
