Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    • Lead the new product development projects for complete drive train as per requirement.
    • Thorough knowledge on Mechanical integration and configuration of systems and subsystems, knowledge on electrical system architecture will be an added advantage.
    • Coordinating with various internal groups like Homologation, CAE, Proto-shop & in- house testing to ensure completion of physical verification and DVP.
    • Also develop test procedures and test cases for testing of powertrain.
    • Derive the subsystem requirement based on vehicle/kit requirement and transfer the same to cub system(Motor, MCU, Transmission & Park Lock)
    • Able to define and implement the HV, LV & mechanical interface as per kit/vehicle and standardize across product.
    • Analyse and evaluate customer requirements, elicitate and specify e-Power Train requirements, support for sub-system level specification, Validating the requirements
    • Ability to lead, follow through and drive the deliveries until completion. Should have experience Leading a moderate team
    • Proficiency and drive DFMEA for system & sub system.
    • Proficiency in vehicle mount design and knowledge on assessment of load distribution will be an added advantage.
    • Support/Lead the requirement reviews along with the Leader
    • High proficiency in Catia and knowledge on casting and sheet metal process.
    • High proficiency in Teamcenter, PLM and NPD process.
    • Should ensure timely delivery as per deliverable expectations from Mahindra Electric Development process
    • Should be able to support for IATF audits
    Experience Total 8 to 10 years engineering experience in automotive mechanical system Integration and 2 to 3 Years relevant Experience in Electric System Integration Industry Preferred Automotive Industry Qualifications BE/Btech or ME/MTech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering General Requirements
    • Excellent knowledge of system engineering process
    • Vehicle integration( Electrical) will be added advantage
    • Should be able to manage all the internal/ external stake holders independently
    • An appreciation of and an ability to positively resolve issues arising from different cultures.
    • Process oriented and should work towards continuous improvements
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
    • Strong teamwork, Open Minded, oral communication, and written communication skills and ability to coordinate multi-disciplined team.
    • Able to be flexible and prepared to travel in India for customer locations (occasionally)
    • Experience in using requirements management tools like Doors, Polarian, etc
    • Knowledge on international regulatory standards
    • Should exhibit Contextual Intelligence
    • Electric vehicles functional Knowledge
    • Exhibit Holistic approach during requirement Elicitation
