Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for executing Electrical Engineering technical disciplines with primary focus on design, development, modification of Electrical hardware systems for semiconductor equipment.Manage a team of RFTs and contractors for the work and project executions.Design of power distribution for the equipment s, understanding and detailed learning on system level architecture.Selection of OEM components and materials for IO Control architecture, control panels / Power distribution designs, cables, PCB s & other miscellaneous electrical hardware used in industrial equipment / machines. Creation of electrical schematics and system interconnects based on requirements received from cross disciplinary teamsWell versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activitiesInteract with business unit counterpart in US / Taiwan.Study and recommend corrective solutions for technical issues of varying complexities.Provide accurate and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process of a semiconductor processing tool Conduct and drive Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams for new design conceptsBe able to highlight high complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project execution.Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules. Work with leadership peers to drive process improvements as necessary. Mandatory Skills required to perform the job: Proficient in system level understanding of Electrical architecture, Power distribution design, IO Controllers and Applications design.Good working knowledge circuit design for power and control applications. Expert in application of power and controls technologies for systems automation Team technical mentoring and guidance, Project Management, people and program management. Performance appraisals, G&O assignments. Must have worked on electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ZUKEN or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation. Familiar with modular design approach of power distribution Design and must understand detailed design and component selection. Experience in PCB applications for power distribution designs. Knowledge on industrial standards like SEMI, NFPA 79, UL 508, NEC, NEMA, IEEE. etcDesirable Skills: Experience with capital equipment or similar (for e.g., Machine tool industries, Semiconductor industry, process industries, medical instrumentation, automotive, aircraft, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design projects.Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams (including mechanical, electro-mechanical, software, process, manufacturing engineers) for major projects with multi-national work environment.Experience in selection of components, setting up equipment for experimentation / testing in laboratory environment, setting up safe practices. Knowledge in Engineering Change Management and release Process.Functional Knowledge
