Job Description

    Global Mobility - Manager /Sr Manager - Banking IndustryThe role will be responsible for ensuring the Service is delivered in compliance with both internal and external regulations that meets tax, immigration, legal and governance standards in all local operations and aligning with GS values and expectations.Key Responsibilities :- Act as single point of contact, and accountable for specific Managed Moves for all employees for all categories of mobility service.- Process Expert, with ability to communicate and support the understanding of these processes - hand holding through self-service initiation activities- Manage expectations for Hiring managers, and the moving employees on the move activities. Investing in early education so as to support the change management for the movers.- Work with 3rd parties to bring useful market intelligence to help mover understand the new location better- Navigate the HR processes to ensure blockers are managed proactively- Manage escalations associated to user experiences for dedicated moves- Manage any escalations within the region and ensure timely escalation to Hub leader and where appropriate escalate to the Head of Global Mobility in Reward COE- Develop and foster stakeholder relationships with colleagues in People services, HRBLs and business leads in aligned geography in order to provide specialist support for cross regional mobility projects- Advises HR and line management on available mobility options including individual package design based on core talent, reward, and process and governance guidance. Tailored Mobility advice also ensures tax, payroll, social security and immigration compliance is maintained in order to minimize risk to - Ownership of complex assignment arrangements, new country setup or adaptation of current process / policy to adhere to ad hoc changes in tax or immigration legislation in a particular jurisdiction in partnership with Global Tax and Tax / Immigration provider.- Own on-going education of HR, line management and current / potential mobile employees on Mobility policies and processes, potential compliance concerns, core Talent Management implications, considering the Mobility end-to-end process, within aligned region- Acting as Voice of Customer by actively contributing to process and policy improvements through the participation at regular team meetings and ad hoc Mobility projects.- Partner with Global Long-Term Incentive Plan Programmes and Services in maintaining accurate data on Mobility Assignees to ensure Long-Term Incentives are granted appropriately.- Proactively and accurately manages all escalation including the governance of exceptions requested- Partner with preferred Vendors ensuring accurate and timely update of employee data in systems,
