Job Description

About the teamPlanning is a central team responsible for creating business plans & forecasts to enable decision making & operational readiness. The team strives to build balanced plans to optimize superior customer experience, supply chain reliability & operating costs. The position requires an individual to have relevant supply chain experience and expertise to enable scientific decision making and performance improvement measures.The role involves high interaction with other Flipkart teams & necessitates a collaborative individual who can build robust plans, understand complex tech products, build system configurations, negotiate and influence business partners across different functions at Flipkart.What you ll do:

  • Capacity planning for all destinations and timings
  • Own the SLA and initial promise to ensure all SLA targets are met.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly reporting of key metrics within her/his domain.
  • Monthly plan closures, working on long- and short-term goals.
  • Drive key projects with Ops, finance, and product to ensure SLA and Capacity utilization target.
  • Own the monthly SNOP and planning SOPs for all scale and CL related asks.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders- design, category, finance, design and operations to implement best practices from other supply chains to ensure optimal utilization of assets
  • Drive and implement continuous improvement projects with product, sell side, Ops and design to improve month on month SLA with least cost and business impact.
  • Responsible for RCA/waterfall, attainment and correction plan of key metrics
  • Working extensively with cross functional teams on projects related to automation, improving supply chain cost, event planning etc
  • Excellent in building relationships and getting things done with the stakeholders. Strictly adhering to the timelines.
  • Extensively working with the tech and product team for problem solving, day to day analysis, automation of planning procedures.
  • Owner of system capacities and management
What you ll need:
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Statistics/ Engineering / Operations
  • High fluency in advanced excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to develop logic
  • Hands on experience in statistical and analytical tools like R modelling, SQL, Qlikview, Power BI
  • Excellent in powerpoints, google spreadsheets
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in data analytics, manufacturing, e commerce supply chain
  • Ability to work with minimum hand holding
  • Fluent in communication, sharp business and interpersonal acumen
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and highly demanding work condition
