Job Description

Role purpose Support department head in maintaining and enhancing productivity of the Risk function. Train and groom people in various risk management tools and techniques.Work Timings: 12:30 M to 09:30 PMKey Required Skills:

Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability
  1. Design and implement risk management models for consumer lending products.
  2. Manage Projects, train and supervise team members in various risk management tools and techniques
  3. Acquire and update knowledge of 1FBSSPLs customer information database and overall business economics
  4. Undertake preparation and upgradation of risk related systems and policies
Associated Tasks1. Design and implement risk management models for consumer lending products
  • Identify risk management issues and propose & implement risk management tools and techniques within the approved framework.
  • Work towards providing experimental design, sampling strategies and cell size determination for Portfolio management tests.
  • Improve existing scoring models
  • Oversee development of new scoring models, econometric models, economic and portfolio forecasts and new products.
  • Assist in establishing, monitoring, evaluating, developing and implementing strategies for new account acquisitions and credit limit management.
  • Research and recommend improvements to statistical model development and monitoring methodologies.
  • Build and install new credit and risk tools for new and existing clients, credit line limit management, attrition and collections.
  • Support departmental head in other risk related initiatives.
2. Manage Projects, train and supervise team members in various risk management tools and techniques
  • Supervise train and review work done by risk analysts.
  • Coordinate with US office on an ongoing basis to seek and extend project related information.
  • Oversee adherence to business risk and security management processes.
  • Identify risk management issue and propose and implement risk management tools and techniques within the approved framework.
  • Perform execution, test data collection and effects estimation for the designed tests.
  • Oversee execution, data collection and effects estimation for the designed tests.
  • Address all risk and credit related issues applicable to Consumer Credit Risk Management.
  • Help team identify and understand credit attribute relationships and results
3. Acquire and update knowledge of 1FBSSPLs customer information database and overall business economics
  • Oversee and undertake database analysis, develop and deploy financial models, financial management tools, and analytical tools. Monitor trends and issues.
  • Monitor research and recommend improvements to statistical model development and monitoring methodologies.
  • Supervise and ensure building and installing new credit and risk tools for new and existing clients, credit line limit management, attrition, and collections.
  • Continuously refresh information, processes and tools.
  • Acquire extensive knowledge of statistical techniques such as linear regression, hypothesis testing and champion and challenger design of experiments.
4. Undertake preparation and upgradation of risk related systems and policies
  • Carry out predictive modelling,
  • Develop fraud, behavioral risk scoring or marketing response models.
  • Program in SAS/Base, SAS/Stat, and SAS/Macro and knowledge of relational databases.
  • Work on statistical programs such as SQL, SAS or SPSS or advanced use of database programs.
  • Contribute towards the development of systems for identifying, collecting and using performance information/data including sampling, measurement and analysis systems; designing databases, designing data sampling methods and database development.
  • Prepare exhibits and supporting materials and develop recommendations for credit policy, and provides loss forecasts, demographic and credit limit utilization analysis.
  • Undertake validation of third party solutions and scoring tools.
