  • Excellent oral / written communication skill/ good system skills and managerial skill.
  • Exposure to Regional / Domestic Custody Settlements operations, Asset Servicing, Financial Market, derivatives, Capital market and Foreign Exchange.
  • Hands on experience in handling global custodian systems such as Clearstream / Euroclear / BBH would be an added advantage, especially handling of any MENA markets would be good.
  • Knowledge of various markets trade life cycle, market nuances, special requirements, market participants, trade flow is mandatory
  • Knowledge of allied products like corporate actions, Fund services and reference data will be an added advantage
  • Innovative thinking and having an aptitude/appetite for process improvements
  • At least two years of People management skills with proven track records
  • Willingness to work in shifts and to cover ASIA, Middle East and African shifts if required
  • Proven track records in identification of process gaps, process automation, error control and lean projects is mandatory
Position Objectives:
  • Managing daily operations responsibilities of trade settlements
  • When required, authorizing Settlements transactions, Reporting of Trade Status to countries
  • Ensuring that all the trades that ought to have been sent to the market have actually been sent and the status updated in System
  • Ensuring the fundamentals are under supervision and mitigate any potentials
  • Follow up on the fail trades as per the fail trade management process
  • Booking FX where necessary
  • BAU escalation handling
  • Process improvement
  • Regular 1:1s with staff and motivating them for process improvements
  • People management and process improvisation
  • Lean project and cost saves
  • Train and retain high talents
