This role resides within the Retail Systems function which is responsible for building retail platforms, tools and automation required to manage selection, maintain competitive pricing, forecast demand, buy products and deal with vendors. Pricing Analytics and Operations team is an integral part of Retail Systems enabling Amazon s pricing strategy and operations. The team s primary role is to provide on-time and accurate inputs to help make great pricing decisions at an individual product level for millions of products on a daily basis, for all countries where Amazon operates a retail business. We build and execute on scalable & efficient processes to ensure Amazon s price competitiveness. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and Amazon s topline & profitability. It is based in our India development center and has complete business and functional ownership.Opportunity:As a Manager Support Operations, you will create and implement processes that can deliver projects at scale. You will collaborate with business and development teams across the company to define requirements, design high level process, and manage all aspects of the program execution including writing business requirements, maintaining the project schedule, resolving or mitigating issues and risks, and communicating results throughout the organization. At the same time, you know and enjoy working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, extract data from multiple databased and partner with business leaders to answer key business questions.You will interface and drive agenda with the automation, technology and business teams to build scalable programs. The role involves influencing peers and stakeholders in other functions to achieve the operational and business goals. A successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals. The ideal candidate actively seeks to understand Amazon s core business values and initiatives, and translates those into everyday practices.Some of the key result areas include, but not limited to:- Responsibility for defining and driving functional/business goals.
