Within the service catalogue of UniOps, Finance Services organisation is responsible for the management and delivery of Finance Services globally, both through third-party outsourced providers and through in-sourced operations.The treasury reporting and control back office team is responsible for confirmation, settlement and reconciliation of all the Treasury deals and bank accounts. It will also be responsible for Sox and other process Treasury controls by constantly assessing the risk to Unilever. Key activities summary: Managing Treasury Back Office (BO)

• Leading a team of 5 people
• Responsible for daily settlements, confirmations and Reconciliation of all financial flows
• Responsible for System Master data including the set-up of counterparties, entities, SSIs, SWIFT arrangements
• Managing set up on In house bank accounts
• Managing transaction banking matters relating to maintenance of online banking portals, POAs, KYC etc.
• MIS on Treasury activities enabling senior management to make right decisions
• Robust documentation of all treasury back office and controls processes and ensure it is maintained year over year
• Risk Assessment of all activities and building good controls to mitigate the risk
• Drive Digitization and Robotic Process automation (RPA) usage in Treasury Back office and Controls
• Lead Projects for Treasury Back office and Controls

Main Accountabilities

• On time and in full Settlement, confirmation and reconciliation of Treasury deals (100% payment on time)
• Nil Audit Incidents
• Full compliance to applicable SOX controls
• Timely closure of transaction banking matters relating to maintenance of online banking portals, POAs, KYC etc.
• Ontime accurate EMIR reporting of Treasury transactions
• Good quality of Master data set up to ensure first time right
• Accurate SWIFT set up for payments and confirmations
• Maintain good working relations with transaction banking and service managers of key global banks
• Continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the process

Key accountabilitiesCustomer Service

• Take responsibility for teams performance in execution of day to day funding instructions across Unilever in a disciplined manner.
• Manage systems setups for new instruments as per country requirements.
• Monitor the Bank reconciliations on a daily basis
• Manage administrative activities with respect to various Bank portals and various internal reporting systems
• Manage internal requirements of Service Level Agreement s, master agreements; user maintenances, signatories to bank accounts, list of bank accounts etc.
• Ensure robust and good controls and processes
• Get clean audit report
• Institute review mechanisms across all verticals of BO
• To excel in service levels and work on continuous improvement, providing a high standard of customer service.
• Lead team meetings suggest ways of improving efficiency and the service provided.
• Design service levels, quality, KPIs and targets

Quality

• High level attention to detail and execution within timelines
• Understand the processes and regulations of countries that are being serviced by BO
• Setup and institutionalize continuous process improvements for higher service delivery
• Understand the system infrastructure
• Understand the different treasury instruments, portfolios and the settlement gateways

• Lead training and development of the team to meet the service expectation of stakeholders.
• Create effective backups in team through knowledge sharing and dissemination
• Lead change management and set up great Culture
• Understand and demonstrate the values and culture of the department.
• Be accountable and responsible for the services that are expected to be delivered out of the service hub.
• Hold people responsible within the teams on agreed ways of working.
• The role may require some working of non-standard hours as workload dictates

Resources Lead a team size of 5 members and manage stake holders who are Managers & Directors and above.Key Contacts Global Front office, Banks, UL countries and their Treasury personnel that are serviced by Global Treasury BO, Business Partners, 3P service providers, External and internal auditors.Key Skills required

Relevant Experience

• Min 10 years of experience in Investment Banking Operations/ Large Corporate Treasury Operations role
• Post graduate/ Professional qualification of CA ;
• Worked with treasury systems and aptitude for working with new systems. Working knowledge of Wallstreet Treasury Suite is desirable but not mandatory
• Strong on MS Excel and MS Power point
• Strong on People Management and Stakeholder Management
• Should be self-driven and have the ability to translate vision into actions and lead execution through the team
• Demonstrated ability of working in a complex environment with global stake holders
• Previous experience of working with different cultures and countries would be an advantage
