Job Description

Manager - Validation and Testing Bengaluru, KA, India

Role Description

The candidate will be responsible for Design validation and verification of EV Battery packs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Awareness on vehicle and component level validation test standards
  • Responsible for creation, verification and execution of DVP (Design Verification Plan) Lithium ion battery cells and packs in co-ordination with the design team at vehicle level.
  • Homologation certification requirements and execution
  • Develops test plans and executes it with in schedule
  • Interface with multiple discipline team members to ensure program technical reviews, project phases are completed as per the plan
  • Ability to understand the design concepts and developing the test requirements
  • Data analysis and preparation of reports
  • Conceptualize, design and build test benches and fixtures for multiple validation requirements.
  • Support the design team in making concept decisions based on testing and Knowledge in vehicle packaging
  • Choose test standards or draft testing methodologies for various validation requirements
  • Generation of appropriate reports and documents, release of test reports after test completion.
  • Plan and allocating the activities to technicians
  • Interaction with suppliers
  • Ability to understand software test requirements and conduct the test
  • Preparation of compliance matrices and submit

Desired Candidate

  • Experience: Minimum >6 years working experience as Vehicle Test engineer.
  • Education: Diploma / BE in Electrical, Automobile domain
  • Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle test procedures, Lithium ion batteries and testing skills
  • Good in coordination
  • Should have basic computer knowledge and know to use office tools such as Excel, word, power point, email.
  • Languages to Read and Write: English is mandatory

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Work in Bangalore
  • Willing to work with Lithium ion battery technology for integration in our projects
