Job Description

Strategic

  1. Evolve pricing strategy and sales plan for each of the projects
  2. Leverage innovation to drive sales
  3. Keeping abreast of market trends to obtain intelligence reports regarding competition and facilitating the formulation of strategies to counter competition.
  4. Provide the Marketing teams with inputs to help understand effectiveness of branding initiatives and to provide insights for future initiatives
  5. Plan & forecast business quantum from Direct Sales and support required to achieve the target.
  6. Contribute towards project ideation and planning.
  7. Trigger various BTL marketing activities for all projects in assigned area
  8. Along with marketing function, formulate activities/plan for various marketing media both online and offline along with the marketing team with the goal of maximizing lead generation
  9. Recommend innovative process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity
Operational
  1. Cultivate, nurture and train Sales Team members to manage the Customer efficiently & effectively.
  2. Manage the sales at the Site. Engage the walk-ins and create an aspirational value for the project. Follow-up on the leads, explain the product, price negotiations and final deal closure.
  3. Regular Monitoring & Reviewing of performance levels of Direct Sales Team
  4. Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  5. Participate in target setting exercise and ensure that the sales targets for the assigned projects are met
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with customers to help facilitate continued sales opportunities and identify project performance issues
  7. Periodic reviews with customers to ensure the customer experience is maintained and improve the sales pipeline from existing customers
  8. Report to GM Sales on sales metrics, opportunities, and threats monthly reporting. Utilize the software available to analyze reports and provide insights to GM sales
  9. Attend industry conferences and events to network and develop industry expertise
Financial
  1. To ensure desired volume through Direct Sales.
  2. Achieve Direct Sales Value Target through assigned Teams with efficient Lead Management System.
People
  1. Create a key team of high caliber Sales Team Members.
  2. Manage the Sales team effectively by coaching, mentoring, provide periodic feedback and exposure to enhance learning
  3. Monitor team member productivity and motivate team to reach their goals
  4. Supervise team in accordance with company policies & procedures
  5. Resolve interpersonal issues within the teams and escalate if required
  6. Schedule and lead weekly team meetings
  7. Manage Team Engagement and Team Development through continuous support & mentoring
