Job Description

Areas of Responsibility Indicative Activities Customer Experience To ensure that Environment , Health and Safety Systems are implemented in all kitchens Fulfilling the statutory requirements pertaining to the industrial safety, health , environment and sustainability goals. Ensuring all necessary permits such as Work permit system, Fire NOC, LPG storage license, Store Safety, to operate facility and updating legal register if any new amendments. Industrial safety, Health & Environment Environment, Health & Safety Designing and Driving EHS and sustainability system all across the kitchens; Participate in preparation of EHS policy and monitoring and implementation of EHS Policy Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment throughout the operations and develop mitigation plans Capture near miss and motivate employees to identify near miss. Develop action plan to solve the identify near miss. Maintain incident Reports, Analysis of the incident data to develop action plan Develop a culture on EHS and sustainability all across Lead EHSS campaigns - Prepare and execute plan for celebration of National Safety week, World environmental day, Road safety week , etc Handling and Maintaining the Fire Fighting Equipments like Fire extinguishers, sprinkler system. Conducting training and mock drills at periodic intervals. Coordinate to carry out environmental monitoring, noise , illumination survey, Handling of hazardous & Non hazardous waste, water testing, waste composting Coordinate with maintenance team for regular testing of pressure vessel, plant, lift, hoist, lifting tools, etc. Work with QHSE team and develop customised audit matrix for kitchen Ventilation facility in food preparation area Follow up for NC closures with all stake holders. Review and approve new kitchen design and layout based on FSMS, QHSE and other legal compliances People - Training Identify training requirement & developing training modules for EHS and sustainability at all levels Delivering EHS training at basic, intermediate and advanced levels on Safety Induction, Fire fighting, Emergency Preparedness, Work Permit, Lab safety, Work Permit, Vehicle safety, Warehouse safety, etc Evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes by developing & implementing training modules. Sustainability Organizations strategy, governance, performance and prospects lead to the creation of value over the short, medium and long term. Reporting organizations most critical impacts on the triple bottom-line environment, society and the economy issues as climate change, carbon foot prints, etc. Identifying, review and reducing the organization s environmental risks and building sustainability throughout the process; HSEQ & Sustainability reporting. Maintenance Job Specification Education Qualification: Graduate/Post-graduate in Industrial Safety or Environmental Science Additional Certifications ( If applicable) : ISO 45001 , ISO 14001, NEBOSH certified course Experience: Minimum 10-13 years of experience in the FMCG specifically in the areas of driving EHS Worked in Certification or consulting bodies or FMCG Technical Competencies Functional Competencies 1. Implemented QMS 2. Certified lead auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 1. Leadership skills 2. Good Communication skills 3. Expertise in EHS 4. Conducted External Audits and Training 3. Training Skills 4. Analytical and Problem solving 5. Working with various stake holders Additional Requirements, if any 1. Implemented and certified Environmental Health and Safety systems in large scale kitchen operations 2. Awareness on sustainability and waste management.
