TESTING ENGINEER Job Description, Skill & Qualification External Description, Skills, Qualfication Qualification - BTech / BE / MCA Technical Skills (Must to have): * Proficient in one of the programming languages and scripts (Java / c or Python) * Automation Frameworks : Selenium, Robot, Appium * Solid expertise in Linux and SQL DB(Oracle / MySql) * Protocol and Packet analysers (TCPDUMP, Ethereal) * Good exposure to Load runner, jMeter and other performance tools * Debugging skills with the necessary tools like Valgrind and Halgrind * Exposure security tools would be an added advantage (Burp, Nessus, Acunetix) Roles and Responsibilities: * Understanding the requirements and helping in formulating the test strategies * Test Bed Preparation * Non Functional Test Execution and with the required tools knowledge * Automation of the identified test cases * System Testing * Non Functional Strategy Formulation * Test Design (Functional Testing) * Knowledge in Software testing Life cycles and Software Development Life Cycle * Able to elicit technical specification and requirements independently * Adaptable * Understanding of Agile methodologies * RCA and defect trend analysis * Knowledge of Test estimation will be an added advantage Soft Skills: * Good Communication Skills * Good interpersonal skills * Collaborative and should be a good team player ,
