Job Description

Manual Test Engineer - Server Job brief Azuga is looking for a Software Test Engineer (manual) who is willing to own the product quality and can provide detailed test case documents, software testing, verification and who will contribute to the Quality Assurance activities of assigned projects and ensure that the software meets required standards prior to production release. Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and use that as a base for test documents
  • Design and development of test strategies
  • Design and development of detailed test cases
  • Develop test data
  • Execution of functional, integration, sanity and regression test cases to verify the functionality and efficiency of developed or enhanced software products
  • Defect identification and reporting
  • Work closely with software engineers in the development, execution, and results of tests
  • Execution of browser / OS compatibility testing
  • Execute and evaluate test cases, report defects and track their progress through to closure
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge in software testing
  • Good knowledge in Functional, GUI (different browsers), Sanity, Regression and Load Testing
  • Good exposure in requirement understanding and analysis
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries
  • Basic knowledge of Unix
  • Experience in testing REST APIs
  • Should be good in developing and documenting of test scenarios and test cases
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to test multiple applications in parallel
  • Should have knowledge in Mobile Testing and Automation
