Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities

  • Coordinate with ME for Training & Certification of new joiners
  • Train on Types of Assembly/Classification/Where used etc.
  • Train on Process flow and function of each components in harness assembly.
  • Train on basics of Cable cutting, Crimping-Stripping, Labeling, Sub Assy and Laying.
  • Train operators in reading and updating the IPCR (In process control record)/read drawings, Lead tabulation and Cutting chart etc.
  • Train operators on understanding, reading & relate drawing to production process.
  • Updating Skill matrix in coordination with Supervisor & ME for all the operators on regular basis
  • Train on safety aspects.
  • Train on all types of tools/Jigs/Fixtures and usage of tools.
  • Train on achieving Right Quality first time as per standard CT.
  • Dos and don ts s while carrying the operation
  • To support & advice ME s on improvements
  • Should support production engineers in GL s role on need basis.
  • Periodic skills measurements & skill up gradation of operators. Map skill matrix.
  • Updating OJT forms in coordination with ME after completion of
  • training and any up gradation in knowledge.
  • Maintain the records of NCs/workmanship error of each trainee during daily activity.
  • Educate and involve the operators in 5S+1 activity.
  • Identify the opportunity for improvements in drawing.
  • Ensure training infrastructure and training material is available.
  • To promote Kaizen activities in production to improve productivity.
  • Train on Quality requirements.
  • Train on tracking and maintaining 914 stock in production in coordination with Supervisors.
  • To Analyze rework OR analysis of rejected FG to train line operators regarding the issues.
