Job Description

The Engineering & Application Team is the IT Engine that delivers compelling and robust capabilities, products, and solutions to Kimberly-Clark s business. Our goal is to deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise needs and to drive business growth and profitability.The DevOps lead is responsible for creating and managing CI/CD pipelines in the digital marketing landscape. The person is expected to have a strong understanding of the SDLC lifecycle and use that understanding to further the process using automation. The person will be responsible for defining the branching strategy andKey Accountabilities:

  • Participate in requirements gathering to solidify requirements and determine the best technical solution to meet the business needs.
  • Design, develop and implement new templates, components, and responsive web pages/sites in Sitecore to support the expansion of the core Sitecore platform. Support Kimberly-Clark s development and security standards while developing.
  • Work closely with the Digital Producers and/or Marketing organization on the implementation of new capabilities including Sitecore WEM Platform, Sitecore Content Management Solution etc.
  • Carry out the development of the assigned project adhering to the engineering standards/best practices, committing to the agreed timeline, and ensures quality metrics are met.
  • Integrate internal and external applications using APIs
  • Provide consulting and technical guidance to the Digital Production Team including System Integrators/Service Providers on the Sitecore CMS platform.
  • Prepare technical and other documents related the core platforms as required.
  • Perform technical onboarding of the new employees or Agencies on the core platform.
  • Share new tools, technology standards, and technical learnings on Sitecore CMS platform with the engineering teams.
Skills / Experience Required
  • A Bachelors of Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with hands on software build and release management is required.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC lifecycle and agile methodology is a must.
  • Expertise in Source Control Management, including branching, integration, and merging techniques is requried.
  • DevOps experience handling a multi-lingual environment involving .NET, Java etc. is desirable.
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools and Source Control systems, such as GIT, VSTS and TFS is required.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up DevOps pipelines for large scale projects (Automated deployments with Continuous Integration/Delivery workflows) is a must.
  • Experience with software build and deploy tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, Jenkins, MSBuild, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy, etc. is required
  • Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar - Scripting experience in Groovy or Powershell is expected.
  • Experience with static code analysis for code quality and security. Experience in leveraging Sonar for code quality analysis is desirable.
  • Experience with Cloud Platform (preference is Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes is a plus.
