Your job as Marketing Executive will be to obsess over existing and potential small businesses and create and support innovative marketing programs to make Amazon the most preferred marketplace to sell their products. You are responsible for building in depth understanding about these businesses, identifying their barriers, triggers, needs and drivers to adopting into e-commerce and specifically into Amazon, leading to creating long-term marketing programs to establish though leadership and brand preference. This role is part of IN Seller Marketing team, under Amazon Seller Services.About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on, detail oriented, innovative and highly motivated Marketing Executive to help drive marketing innovations for sellers in India. The candidate will have the ability to work backwards from latent and stated seller needs to identify opportunities of creating and supporting sustainable marketing programs that will add to the brand salience of the Selling on Amazon brand in India. The candidate will be comfortable with working in an environment with minimal supervision, and across multiple complex functions and capabilities to influence external parties. Operating in a rapidly changing environment will require the candidate to be adept at dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations. The candidate will be comfortable in analyzing data, gathering actionable conclusions and executing repeatable processes.Role and Responsibilities: Drive awareness and demand for new programs and innovations by executing marketing campaigns with different stakeholders across the organization as well as external agencies. Understand new programs being launched and be able to clearly articulate its functions and benefits to sellers/ external brands. Identify, acquire and manage relevant sellers, thus, helping scale new initiatives. Track and monitor performance of the new initiatives and marketing campaigns. Synthesize, analyze and report marketing program metrics. Contribute to the identification of new opportunities to influence the seller lifecycle to derive innovative potential. Learn and be Curious and stay on top of key trends and best practices in lifecycle marketing to develop winning strategies. Evolve own skill set with changing requirements for programmatic launch and execution of new initiatives., 2+ years of experience in sales, brand marketing, program management/account management An MBA or an equivalent master s degree is required Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment Technical ability in using HTML and Excel, plus the ability to learn in-house tools quickly Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment Experience with e-commerce, retail, or program management would be an advantage Experience launching nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desired Previous responsibility for strategic development, program management or program marketing is highly desirable.
