Job Description

MDM Systems AnalystResearches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall accountability for in-scope work streams
  • Driving adherence to defined requirements
  • Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of business stakeholder workshops to drive data management project effort
  • Responsible for clarifying requirements to enable consuming systems and integration needs
  • Assists product team with grooming the product backlog and applying business knowledge to inform release schedules, with the goal of releasing as much value as possible as early as possible
  • Assists product team with defining test cases for unit, system, and integration testing
  • Responsible for coordinating content for knowledge transfer
  • Responsible for assembling all required functional project documentation (e.g. requirements, business rules, process mappings, integration mappings, etc.).
  • Drive implementation of data cleansing rules and categorization of existing data
  • Document mappings between in scope interfaces and systems
  • Supports the product team with the stakeholder workshops, testing, and training
Education and Experience:
  • Requires a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related areas
  • At least 8 years of experience as Business Analyst, Functional analysist or Data Analyst in data management space
  • Key skills include Agile, Scrum, User Stories and Grooming
  • Need to be a Data Specialist and go-to person for Data Management products and integration
  • Need to be proficient on Microsoft office products
  • Need to be proficient on Jira
  • Need to be proficient on Oracle, SQL Server and data analysis
  • Need to be proficient on L4 support of Data Management applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, proactive and go-getter
  • Good grasp of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development, agile methodology
  • Looking for someone who can bring himself/herself up to speed quickly in our current environment
  • Good communication skills. Able to articulate clearly his/her ideas
Desired Experience:
  • Experience with Data Management products desired
  • Experience with consulting background is desired
  • Experience in working for global company and/or client is desired
