Job Description

  • Execute simple/complex engineering drawing and documentation
  • Concept design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Modify mechanical engineering drawings/specifications of moderate scope under little supervision
  • Create and release engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process
  • Interact with PG counterpart in US
  • Study and recommend corrective solutions for Problem Reports
  • Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process
  • Conduct Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams
Other Job ResponsibilitiesMandatory Skills required to perform the job:
  • Concept design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies for Water/CDA cooling kit, Sheet metal design, Tube assy routing.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of OEM part selection like Valves, Pressure switch, Hose etc.
  • Proficient in reading, understanding and creating Mechanical Drawings & Specifications
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Component, Systems, Manufacturing Technology
  • Proficient in 3D Modelling, Assembly and Detailing using Creo or any CAD packages & PLM, PDM
  • Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack up and interference calculations
Desirable Skill:
  • Knowledge on structural analysis using FEA software s would be an added advantage
  • Exposure to Value Engineering would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process
  • Knowledge of DFX
  • Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its Sub Systems
Minimum QualificationEligibility Criteria:
  • Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing)
  • Years of experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience
