Job Description

  • Execute complex engineering drawing and documentation
  • Concept design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Modify mechanical engineering drawings/specifications of moderate scope under little supervision
  • Create and release engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process
  • Interact with PG counterpart in the US
  • Study and recommend corrective solutions for Problem Reports
  • Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process
  • Conduct Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams
Other Job ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualification
  • Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing)
  • Years of experience: Minimum 3-years of relevant experience
Preferred QualificationMandatory Skills required to perform the job:
  • Concept design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies for systems like fluid delivery systems (Gasbox Design)
  • Proficient in reading, understanding and creating Mechanical Drawings & Specifications
  • Design of sheet metal enclosures
  • Design and Selection of Mechanical Component Gasline Weldments, Weld Fittings
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Methods Sheetmetal Designs, Welding
  • Knowledge in reading Process and & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID)
  • Knowledge of OEM components like Air Operated Valves, Pressure Transducers, Regulators etc.
  • Proficient in 3D Modelling, Assembly and Detailing using Creo or any CAD packages & PLM, PDM
  • Ensures documentation is consistent with SEMI, Lam Standards and other standards as applicable (ANSI, DIN etc.), as well as best known methods for GD&T; accordingly demonstrates knowledge and ability to properly utilize them.
Desirable Skill:
  • Knowledge on pressure calculations and flow calculations
  • Exposure to Value Engineering would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process
  • Knowledge of DFX
  • Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its Sub Systems
