Medical Billing and Collections 2 - 3 yrs. 08- 11- 2017 Careers Austin Medical Solutions Education & Experience: Graduation or Post Graduation in any Life science is preferred. Coding experience of 2 or more years is preferred. Skills: Technical Skill: AAPC or AHIMA Certification in coding is mandatory Thorough knowledge of ICD - 10, CPT and HCPCS Coding Knowledge or experience in E & M Level coding would be an advantage Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminologies Non Technical Skills: Must be reliable and well- organized. Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teammates and Leaders Willingness to adapt and work accordingly to the Job requirement Good communication skills and ability to communicate with US Team is preferred Competencies: AAPC or AHIMA Certification Personal Traits: Willingness to work additional hours when required Good problem solving skills Roles & Responsibility: Evaluate medical records and encounter form to ensure codes accurately reflect and support the visit or procedure Ensure that the medical record data complies with legal standards and guidelines Ensure required modifiers and codes are added to get maximum reimbursement for claims submitted Review updates and attend webinars to stay abreast of current coding trends and changes Organize and prioritize workload to manage multiple tasks and meet TAT ,
