The SaaS Application Security team is responsible for the security of core platform that users and applications interact with. It is written primarily in RoR - but also includes an increasing number of services developed in NodeJs, EmberJs, Python etc. As a part of this team you will be responsible for driving initiatives related to platform security, improving existing functionalities for security vulnerabilities and working with infra teams for required security related system upgrades. You will be driving risk assessment of security vulnerabilities identified as part of security scans and taking required actions to address them in a timely manner. You will be building required automation tools to proactively avoid security gaps in application. You will also be responsible for driving best practices around security considerations across multiple teams. We are also young as a SaaS platform and have a number of scaling challenges to solve. As part of the team you will be heavily involved in operational aspects of the software for our SaaS deployment and shipping this software for deployments inside large enterprises.You should be ready to solve really challenging real life design and scalability problems every day.What youll be doing
