Job Description

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
  • As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
  • Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
  • Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
  • Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.
  • Fully competent in own area of expertise.
  • May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
  • 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

  • Were looking to hire developers for Oracle Advanced Queues (AQ) product development.
  • AQ is the first database integrated messaging system that provides a rich suite of features including publish subscribe, event management, notification, transformation, routing, rules engine, Java Messaging Service (JMS) and unique replication integration.
  • AQ is used as key database infrastructure by a number of database features and products.
  • AQ is integrated into Oracles Web Logic application server and used by Fusion Middleware and Oracle Cloud.
  • AQ has a large customer base including several leading edge technology companies that use it in a wide variety of ways: writing distributed database applications, workflows, application integration, messaging hubs, task schedulers etc.
We are crafting the next generation of database messaging systems with a focus on Cloud, supporting new architecture like Sharded Database, new hardware architectures like multi-core and flash, and extreme performance and scalability. Opportunities will exist in future in the areas of Blockchain, Microservices and distributed databases. Were looking for developer with 1+ years experience .
  • Skills: C, PLSQL, JAVA, algorithms and systems programming.
  • Great analytical skills, self driven, good team player. Knowledge of JMS, Kafka and other Open Source messaging or distributed systems a plus.
