Job Description

JLL, an international real estate management company, is seeking a senior analyst to join the Enterprise Analytics vertical within the Technology Data & Information Management (TDIM) arm of the organization. Enterprise Analytics is an internal consulting team that provides data driven expertise to various business and support functions. The Senior Analyst is an experienced role that combines data-driven story-telling and business process analysis. If you have a penchant for using data to drive insight which helps different functions within JLL frame decisions and drive action then this is the role for you. The successful candidate is a curious problem-solver and self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment.Duties & responsibilities

  • Analyzing and documenting data attributes, values, and business rules from all data sources
  • Verifying data attributes with SMEs
  • Working with data modeler to understand candidate data model and developing source to target mappings
  • Documenting data transformation needs and business rules to be applied
  • Working with Data Governance to provide quality assurance of imported data
Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Tableau, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), unstructured data (JSON)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Strong knowledge in SQL (possibly SQL server)
  • Metadata Management Tool (Informatica is desirable). An experience in Collibra or Other Metadata management tool would also be desirable.
  • Technical expertise regarding data model design, database development, and data science techniques
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Science, Computer Science.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of technical work experience in the field of computer science
  • 4-5 years as a data analyst or business data analyst specifically in a data warehousing setting utilizing both onshore and offshore resources
  • 2-3 years in business requirements gathering
  • 1-2 years in Agile data warehouse build methodology
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Highly motivated and accountable person
