Job Description

Build and deliver the Dashboards and Data Analytics for Client Onboarding and Lifecyle (COLT) projectStrategyUnderstanding the data sources, platforms that we rely upon for data and the stakeholders who seek/receive the output.Collaborating across team and functional lines for high quality and timebound deliveries.BusinessUnderstand the COLT project deliverables and broader GB COO organizational agendaDriving operational efficiency and effectiveness for processes and projects under area of responsibilityProcessesData AnalyticsCollaborating with the stakeholders and understanding analytics requirementsDeveloping reports/dashboard per the book of work priorities and delivery timelinesPeople and TalentLeading through example by upholding high standards of excellence, ethics & code of conduct, governance and risk awareness, and stakeholder partnership & collaborationContributing and adapting to a high-quality performance teamParticipating in ongoing training and development to keep up with skills and qualifications the roleFormulating and monitoring job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectivesRisk ManagementEmbedding instituted processes and projects within relevant risk management frameworks, including deployment of the Operational Risk Framework, and ensuring timely, independent, and accurate execution and reporting of checks performed throughout duration of process / project ownershipServing as first line control owner wherever relevantEnsuring a full understanding of the risk and control environment within area of responsibility and all critical direct reports are equipped to deliver against requirements of the relevant risk and control environment applicable to their area of responsibilityGovernanceAbiding by the Group s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the Performance Management team and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areasUnderstanding the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the roleEnforcing and exemplifying strong governance and oversight across all managed projects and activities within the portfolio that is consistent with Bank and industry programme and project management standards, code of conduct, and good governance and risk managementCollaborating with internal and external regulatory & monitor, global and country risk assessment & audit bodies throughout the development process to deliver timely, accurate, and on-point outcomes that support / execute against existing Bank regulatory programmes & commitmentsFormulating regular updates to committees, governance bodies, and senior management including relevant and actionable MIS & insights and where appropriate act as a lead, representative / delegate in these forumsRegulatory & Business conduct Displaying exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct.Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.Supporting the Performance Management team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles: Financial Crime Prevention; The Right Environment.Effectively and collaboratively identifying, escalating, mitigating and resolving risk, conduct and compliance matters.Our Ideal CandidateA degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Cost/Management AccountancyMinimum 6 years of professional experience, preferably in Banking / Financial Services.Expert in data sourcing, data capture, data transformation and data preparation techniques.Expert with clear track record of deliveries in field of databases, Extract-Transform-Load, SQL/Hive including writing stored procedures and data extraction / manipulation using queries.Expert in visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, etc.Understanding of statistics and related application in machine learning and data science.Experience in end to end analytics delivery from data ingestion to data preparation to data visualization.Working knowledge of core banking processes (e.g. Client Onboarding, Client Due Diligence, Credit operations) and related risks and controls, and/or experience working on bank-related systems implementation projects.Hands on experience of using data to improve processes, client experience and risk.Solution-oriented with go-getter personality.Willing to try new ways to solve old problems.Team player, able to motivate and develop team members.Confident, independent, and adaptable.Excellent verbal/written communication skills.Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills.,
