Job Description

  • 5-8 years of experience working as Oracle/SQL Server administrator in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers.
  • Versions supported for Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c and 19c
  • Versions supported for SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016
  • Knowledge/Experience in maintaining of high-availability database environments (RAC, dataguard), (Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, Log-shipping).
  • Knowledge/Experience in Install, upgrades and patching
  • Knowledge/Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Knowledge/Experience in handling CPU, Memory, deadlocks, Space related DB issues
  • Very basic SQL, PL/SQL understanding/knowledge will be added advantage
  • Knowledge/Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Knowledge/Experience in handling CPU, Memory, deadlocks, Space related DB issues
  • Very basic T-SQL, SQL, PL/SQL understanding/knowledge will be added advantage
  • Availability for 24 x 7 support as needed.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge on ITIL processes
