Job Description

JD for Netbackup Admin:

  1. Excellent knowledge and experience Netbackup 7.6/7.7 /8.1 Administration including Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting issues on Unix Platform (windows not required)
  2. Lead Netbackup Upgrades, patching and compliance requirements.
  3. Good Experience in Oracle/RMAN backups that will include configuration and troubleshooting of the Oracle/RMAN backup issues.
  4. Good knowledge of working on Command Line (CLI) for NetBackup Administration.
  5. Good Knowledge of NDMP backups.
  6. Good knowledge of working on Appliance and MSDP
  7. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Data Domain environments.
  8. Good Understanding of VMware Backup.
  9. Basic knowledge of Unix/RedHat Linux.
  10. Added advantage if candidate has scripting knowledge in Shell or Perl.
  11. Good Knowledge on Cohesity
  12. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  13. Should be able to work in night shifts (mandatory).
  14. Prior experience in managing clients and client environments.
