Job Description

    Job Title: Network Administrator FortiGate Firewall Experience: 6 to 10 years Salary: Up to 26 LPA Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi NCR Employment Type: Full-Time / PermanentWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator with deep expertise in Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls to join our growing IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting FortiGate appliances, and ensuring the stability and security of enterprise network systems.Key Responsibilities:
    • Install, configure, and maintain Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and associated security policies.
    • Manage day-to-day operations of network security devices and provide Level 2/3 support.
    • Design and implement secure network architectures in line with business needs.
    • Perform firewall rule configuration, traffic shaping, NAT policies, and VPN setup.
    • Monitor network performance and security using FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and other tools.
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues.
    • Maintain and update documentation on network configurations, policies, and procedures.
    • Work closely with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security policies and audits.
    • Participate in DR (Disaster Recovery) and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) exercises.
    • Manage IPS/IDS systems, Web Filtering, Antivirus, and Application Control on FortiGate.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • 6-10 years of relevant network and firewall administration experience.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewall devices.
    • In-depth understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs.
    • Experience in managing FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiClient EMS.
    • Knowledge of IPS/IDS, content filtering, SSL decryption, and security best practices.
    • Familiarity with multi-site networks, high availability (HA) configurations.
    • Fortinet certifications like NSE 4, NSE 5, or above are highly desirable.
    • Good understanding of ITIL framework and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with other firewall vendors (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point) is a plus.
    • Exposure to cloud network security (AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
