Job Description

19101 Network Engineer (Open)Position Type:Full timeLocation(s):IN.Bangalore.Office1Summary:Role of the engineer: Engineer, design and deploy network services and solutions based on business, strategic, and technical requirements Develop infrastructure roadmaps, conduct feasibility studies, and review proposals with peer IT groups Deploy solutions starting with the proof of concept and continuing through full deployment and support transition to Operations teams Identify, recommend, and lead continuous network infrastructure improvement efforts Find and recommend new and innovative products, services, and solutions Drive innovation and automation across the network and enable other teams to do the same Act as an escalation point to Operations teams and a mentor to other Network Administrators/ Engineers Strive for quality and customer satisfaction in the projects assignedPosition Details:

  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience as a Network engineer working on LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN technologies.
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent education/experience
  • Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) in Routing and Switching, Data Center, Security or Certificates on Palo Alto products or equivalent educatation/experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing, deploying, maintaining cloud deployments, AWS, Azure, GCP. Cloud certifications preferred.
  • In depth understanding of network protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSEC, HSRP, VDC, 802.11, 802.1x, SNMP
  • Configuration of Enterprise level tools such as Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting (Solarwinds, Netflow, IP Management InfoBlox, Packet Captures using NetShark/App Response, ISE)
  • Knowledge of installation and troubleshooting of Datacenter and Corporate connectivity for Enterprise and customer use
  • Hands on experience using network simulation, automation and scripting tools
  • Hands on experience on Cisco ACI Spine/Leaf architecture.
  • Knowledge and use of network monitoring tools such as HP OV, Solarwinds Orion, Panorama, Cisco Prime, Wireshark (or similar network packet capture tools)
  • Good understanding and work experience on Private and Public Cloud
  • Network Auditing for compliance such as PCI, HIPPA and ISO)
  • Enhanced Operational support for other team members as well as initial installs, builds and troubleshooting
  • Implementation of network standards and polices
  • Ability to analyze and solve issues
  • Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications and other business related desktop applications
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with team members across multiple time zones
  • Ability to represent and follow CSG s change control process and polices
  • Enterprise class network documentation and presentation of Engineering solutions
  • Ability to work independently without a lot of direction
  • Ability to lead team members and provide training on an as needed basis
