Job Description

Contributes to the operation of the companys internal data communications systems. Establishes and maintains network performance utilizing technical experience to analyze and troubleshoot network problems. Responsibilities

  • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and Zebra policies and procedures
  • Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative as well as practical ways
  • Ability to identify end user issues and propose solutions on moderate process issues
  • Typically works on major problems/enhancements of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
  • Ability to work on multiple complex projects at the same time
  • Interacts with cross functional IT team in a collaborative nature and works with cross-functional linked teams on global projects
  • Collects requirements and design for the moderate enhancements / projects
  • Provides regular updates to manager on project/work status
  • Lead a module or a minor project at individual level and represent the function at cross functional meetings
  • Participates in the Proof of Concept or Proof of value for Global Projects
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Prepares system documentation including Visio diagrams and update them time to time.
  • Works to support system/Network upgrades including planning and scheduling, coordination and deploying.
  • Analyze moderate complex performance issues in Network and able to identify and provide a solution.
  • Lead in configuration, maintenance, setup, and updating of Network, including Firewall level changes, Internet VPN s remote implementation.
  • Lead network support with a variety of operating systems and Works on problems/enhancements of high scope with high complexity
  • Lead network cabling and device installation
  • Lead to ensure availability and performance of Network
  • Experience in scripting languages to manage the network devices.
  • Maintains network health monitoring and notification tools, Analyzes high complex issues

Responsible for the L3 tickets and all L2 escalations.

Qualifications

P r eferred Education: Bachelors Degree required or equivalent experience

CCNA, CCNP, SolarWinds certifications preferred.

P r eferred Work Experience (years): Minimum of 6-9 years
