What Youll DoWe are hiring Network Lab administrator with strong hands-on expertise in networking & lab management for our next generation management product developed & tested in Cisco Bangalore. You will be responsible for managing the complete product lab which includes network planning, lab design, topology setup, simulation, Servers & VM management, routing/switching/wireless configuration, monitoring & troubleshooting. You may need to work closely with various engineering teams to address network & lab related requirements.Who Youll Work WithYou will be part of the new team for our nextGen infra in Bangalore. We are looking for motivated individuals, who have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, who are open and have the ability to assimilate new techniques and enjoy challenging tasks.Who You AreAbility to proficiently handle lab setups, networking topologies for testing End-2-End customer scenarios. Exposure to any one of the scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Java or TCL is added advantage.Proficient in Linux/unix file system and development tools strongly desired. Good understanding of operating system conceptStrong Analytical skills with a mindset that questions assumptions; with a willingness to continuously help improve processes and procedures. Ability to work independently with a desire to share knowledge with peers.Education:Typically requires BSEE/CS 8+ years related experience, or a MSEE/CS combined with 6+ years of related experience. CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or other Cisco certifications will be a great advantage.Experience in ANY of the following areas:Hands on expertise in Routing, Switching & Wireless areas including Configurations, monitoring & troubleshooting.Network TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching - (Static Routing, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, STP, Trunk, VLAN, EtherChannel etc.,)Experience on Wireless devices, Controllers & APs in managing wireless lab setup.Date Centre Management (Nexus, LB etc.).Very good experience in IP address management, routing protocols, IP services (QoS, NAT etc), MPLS, L2/L3.Hands on experience in VM Management. - VCenter/ESXi / VMwareKnowledge of leveraging NMS products, tools for managing the Lab networks including utilization of VM s & Devices.Complete Lab life cycle management of the hardware procurement process.Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD tech & tooling such as Docker, Vagrant, Ansible, terraform etc. will be added advantage.Why CiscoAt Cisco, each person brings their unique talents to work as a team and make a difference.Yes, our technology changes the way the world works, lives, plays and learns, but our edge comes from our people.We connect everything people, process, data and things and we use those connections tochange our world for the better.We innovate everywhere - From launching a new era of networking that adapts, learns andprotects, to building Cisco Services that accelerate businesses and business results.
